Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I’ll still be on tour with Moody Chorale until the saturday after this next one (the 24th of march). I’m enjoying meeting new people and traveling, but I miss my dorm in good ol’ Chicago, and my friends. I really am wanting to learn more about guitar when I get back to chicago - my fingers have been twitching wanting to play!

My name is Jake and I am a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. I am studying Ethnomusicology and loving every moment of it! There is so much to do in this life and everyday I am more convinced that all I want to do is serve God: to live with broken people crying and laughing, learning to love everyone and worshiping Jesus. I don't know what is in store for me next but I am eager to find out!A few years ago all I wanted to do was play music and travel around the country. But God had other plans for me. He gave me a heart for the Japanese people and has given me the desire to pursue full time ministry after school. So this next summer I will be doing my internship with a Gospel Choir in Tokyo, Japan. This will be a great opportunity for me to learn how music can be used to reach people for Christ!
