The good, and bad, and… other
For those of you who do not know yet, my internship in Japan has fallen through. I am very sad I cannot go because I have tried to go there since I came back a couple years ago. How ever I still needed an internship in intercultural music. I was suggested to talk to WEC about what they were doing and now I think I am going to Europe for 6 weeks! First England for training, and then I will be off to Spain to work with the Basque People. They are an ancient people in Europe that do not have a country of their own. I am very excited to go to learn about a new people. I pray to God that I can glorify Him on this trip and that I can learn a lot about good Christian work.
My name is Jake and I am a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. I am studying Ethnomusicology and loving every moment of it! There is so much to do in this life and everyday I am more convinced that all I want to do is serve God: to live with broken people crying and laughing, learning to love everyone and worshiping Jesus. I don't know what is in store for me next but I am eager to find out!
